Nicole and Alex's story began in the sculpture studio at FIU during their undergraduate years. Alex, as student teacher, and Nicole as a burgeoning sculptor caught each other's eye. After several years of knowing each other and navigating through tough relationships, they officially came together.
Reconnecting felt natural. No time had passed, and their love story took a heartwarming turn when Alex proposed on a moonlit beach in Florida. Nicole, surprised and skeptical, yet touched, responded with a "maybe," but invited him to move to Orlando with her, paving the way for the next chapter of their lives.
Nicole completed her graduate studies in Orlando, earning her MS in Game Design. The couple then returned to Chicago for a new adventure. Alex pursued his passion for fine art at Columbia College's MFA program, with Nicole supporting his artistic journey.
In the present, Nicole works as an Immersive Experience Design Consultant, and Alex as a multi-talented art educator. Their lives have become a warm and collaborative canvas, regularly working together on artistic projects within the comfort of their home and between the Electronic music festivals they travel for each year. They look forward a shared future of signing their names to more collaborative projects and visiting music festivals around the world, marking the beginning of an affectionate and artistic partnership.
